Ohio Revised Code Sections 735.271 and 735.273 outline the statutory establishment and duties for the administration of village public utilities. Following the abolition of the short-lived Board of Trustees of Public Affairs by Village Council ordinance on October 7, 2026, the management, operation, supervision, and oversight of Perrysville’s public utility systems; including infrastructure, improvements, repairs, and maintenance for water and sewer systems, sewers, drains, ditches, culverts, streams, and water courses, have been restored to the Village Administrator under the direction of the Mayor and Village Council.
