Public Notice: Codified Ordinance Update
Please be advised that the Village of Perrysville’s officially published Codified Ordinances are currently undergoing a professional update. The existing published volume may be out of date by approximately three years. We are working to bridge this gap to ensure all residents have access to a single, accurate legislative record. In the interim, the following ordinances and resolutions passed within the last year represent the current law of the Village and take precedence over older printed versions:
- Tax & Finance (Res. 7-2025 & 28-2025): Authorizes a vital tax levy for village operations and an intergovernmental loan agreement for infrastructure support.
- Greenery & Maintenance: Formally reactivated the Shade Tree Commission to oversee village landscaping and updated regulations for the brush compost pile.
- New Noise Ordinance (Section 509.10): Prohibits unreasonable noise from amplifying devices at any hour, with strict enforcement and increased penalties during “quiet hours”.
- Zoning Updates: Implemented revised zoning permit requirements and updated the official Village Zoning Map to reflect all property changes as of May 2025.
